Windows 10: Possible Microsoft Support Scam

I called the number for Microsoft Support which I found on Google. I am trying to find out if this was an attempt to get my information. Since I contacted them, I thought it was ligit. After an evenining and the following day of talking to them, they wanted me to sign up for Kraken, which I did I have since uninstalled the app and then he wanted me to sign into Wells Fargo. I did not as by this time I was scared and doubted this person named Stephen was legit. The numbers I have are 855 771 9690 and 844 610 2538
