Windows 10: Possible New Solution : Unable To Paste Clipboard into Paint

This seems to be a problem STILL for many users.Cause IdentifiedI had a recent version of Snagit tool installed in my system, Win 11 . When this tool is launched; It persists as a running app in the background. It keeps an active association with Window clipboard, probably locks out or conflicts a certain working address range; which in turn prevents clipboard from discerning different types of formatting.My SolutionUninstalled the Snagit tool; Rebooted... Was then able to successfully resume the use my Prtsc button to capture and paste images.Optional: Use Task Mgr to End Task of

Thank you, The first suggestion worked. The second did also provided I did not click in the Paint window first.

I'd spent some time trying to work it out for myself but was fooled by the clipboard window always closing prematurely. So thanks again.

Click your Start Button, then just type paint and form the resulting list open the Paint Application

In Paint, press Ctrl + V does that image paste form the clipboard?

If not, leave Paint open, press the Windows Key + V to open the clipboard

Click the Paint window, then click that image on the clipboard app, does that paste the image into Paint?

 

The Information on the Clipboard cant be inserted into Paint

When I try to paste a PrntScr ; Snagit or Snippet object from my clipboard into paint, I get this error message: "The Information on the Clipboard can't be inserted into Paint". This has never happened on my systeme before. I have tried the following; and each of the attempts have FAILED

• Repairing Paint,
  
• Resetting Paint;
  
• Restarting system
  
• Resetting Clipboard / Restarting system
  
• Uninstalled Paint
  
• Reinstalled Paint
  

The problem still persists.

I am using Windows 11... My system implemented routine updates ( about two weeks ago... )

After some research, i have discovered that this error was a problem as far back as Vista and Win 7. Still no solution???
I'm really getting tired of Microsoft's progressively inferior quality control. It's become a clown show...

Please, If you decide to respond , spare me (and others) the mindless droning of how sorry you feel ;that I am having this horrible Windows experience (and the battery of useless tests, which follow) Just fix your product and offer up a real solution.
