Windows 10: Possible PUP Redirects my Browser

Hi everybody,


I have seemed to have picked a potentially unwanted program. I keep getting redirected to a bing page once I have typed a search query in Google. Currently my McAfee suite is picking anything up. Malwarebytes was mentioned when I searched for some answers as apparently has a very robust scanner, so I downloaded but the same results so far. Can anybody advise further please? This has only happened like one day ago, and I don't surf porn sites and any other sites that would malware attached to downloads that I know of. Thank you.

New detection....not much info listed here.

Presume you emptied temporary internet files, restarted the computer and tried a Quick Scan with your resident antivirus program?

Did you seek advice/assistance from your antimalware provider (Avast, Avira, McAfee, Norton, etc)?

Any new browser extensions that need to be disabled/removed?

Any new program installed that you need to remove?

browser hijacked

I've removed viruses using Avast & Malwarebytes but still get browser redirects when trying to go to any Microsoft sites or update page. Any suggestions?
