Windows 10: Possible solution to black screen when using print screen

I had the problem of getting a black screen every time I tried to use the Print Screen on my computer. I tried to find answers online, but none helped. I tried using the snipping app and had the same problem. Then I found a solution which is, if you are using Google Chrome, you need to turn off the acceleration. It worked perfectly for me. To turn the accelerator off, go to the dots ....... on the top right on Google Chrome, choose settings, go to system, and from there you can turn the accelerator off.

Print Screen, black screen appears

See previous comments - "Print Screen" and the Snip Tool" works on screens that are not from the Internet!!!
Again, click on Print Screen (of my desktop), go to Paint, open a new screen, Paste an image of my desktop (captured from Print Screen).. and also I can use the snap tool (of an area within the paint screen). That is, the Pasted image does show my desktop and icons... and I can use the snap tool... (and no black screen from the above steps).

Print Screen, black screen appears

Went to Google Chrome and clicked on "(upper part of screen) New Incognito Window.. set this... and then went back and turned it off. Did not solve problem (for Private browsing).

I am back using Chrome Browser.
Went to Chrome Settings > Advanced>System> Use hardware acceleration when available… then “turned off”… rebooted. No change in my black screen problem. Now put back on, the acceleration feature.

Aside- With an internet screen open, pressing Print Screen to the clipboard it copies a black screen and into MSWord. Then with MSWord page still open, I press Print Screen coping the opened MSWord page and then press “PASTE”, it then pastes the second Print Screen pressed into the MSWord document (shows the black screen (previously Print Screen pressed) and below the MSWord page with the toolbar on top .
