Windows 10: possible to disable "add a caption" popup on OneDrive?

Hi,When you open a larger image of a photo on OneDrive in a web browser, it adds a little popup at the bottom to "add a caption." You can move the cursor off of the image and wait a few seconds and it will disappear, but I'd much rather that the popup not show up at all. You can always add a caption using the circled i tab i for info, presumably, so the popup is redundant. And if you want to screenshot your entire image, you have to wait a few seconds for it to disappear.Is there any way to disable this? Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

Using adblocker is the simplest way but if the site urges to disable the adblocker, then I block the popups

 

OneDrive website is broken: captioning not working

I was in contact with OneDrive support over two months ago and they assured me (after first repeatedly trying to prove that it was a user error) that they would fix this problem. As a former computer programmer, I have a good idea of what's wrong and it's
an easy fix. But obviously it's not worth their while to put any effort into fixing it; they don't make money off of people posting photos on OneDrive. I switched to Google Photos. They don't have their own captioning feature, but will display the contents
of the files Title property as a caption. So I just right-click on the file in file manager, select Properties, then the Details tab, and enter my caption in the Title field. Otherwise, Google Photos does everything that OneDrive does.
