Windows 10: Possible to install AE 7.0?

Discus and support Possible to install AE 7.0? in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Is it possible to install AE 7.0 in Windows 10?     Possible to install AE 7.0?


    Is it possible to install AE 7.0 in Windows 10? I was able to install it in Windows 8.1 but when I upgraded I had to reinstall it and it won't let me.

    Event viewer shows this after attempting to install:
    Code: Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Adobe After Effects 7.0. Product Version: 7.0.0.244. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Adobe Systems, Inc.. Installation success or error status: 1624.[/quote] The Windows Installer service is enabled, and I have ran the program compatibility troubleshooter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Is the Acer ePower Mgmt still installed after the Upgrade? Open it up and look at the settings to see if any might possibly apply to the issue you're experiencing on the MS driver.

    If it didn't survive the Upgrade, you can reinstall it from the Applications downloads on your model's Windows 8.1 downloads page.

    There's also a possibility this software is malfunctioning or buggy in Windows 10, so another option is to disable or uninstall it to test if the issue persists without it.

    Good to hear that it works with WPA2(AES). That rules out one possible problem for me. Now back to troubleshooting.
