  1. Possible to "Sticky" App to All Desktops?

Basically, I want to have this one application window appear on all desktops.
I'd like to be able to do it without having to pay for other software to achieve this. (DisplayFusion will do it, but for a fee of $25. And I really don't want to run another process and pay for the use of just one feature.)

Does anyone know how I can achieve this? Google searches have been less than helpful.

    :)

Depends if the application is designed to run more than one instance at a time or not.

  5. Well currently, I'm looking at iexplore.exe as that is what I am using to view my security cameras. I do have another tool, but I'm still having issues getting it to stay on the second monitor. The security cam software keeps snapping back to the first monitor.

You want to open multiple security cameras with Internet Explorer to be displayed on multiple monitors?

  7. I am logged into a web interface for the cams so I can see all 4 in the one browser window. I have that browser windows maximized full-screen on my second (right) monitor.

I do a lot of swapping between the virtual desktops though. I am currently running 4. Each time I move desktops, I have to move the browser window to that desktop. The alternative is running a separate window and then logging into the web interface on each of the 4 desktops, but then that eats up a lot of bandwidth.

So basically, I want to keep the one window persistent across the desktops.

Not sure if this is any closer to what you're after, but, I duplicated an IE tab three times and put one up in each desktop; seemed to be moderate performance wise.
I might be barkin up the wrong tree though...

  9. Yeah, that's the best option I currently have. Each browser's video stream uses about 10Mbps of bandwidth, so that's a pretty heavy load on the network traffic, and causes a bit of latency with the cameras. Also if I'm not in a tab for a long while, the plugin for IE has a tendency to freeze and I have to refresh the page and re-login.

I'm looking for something that will basically accomplish that, without having to have 4 separate browser processes.

Or you could change these settings to 'All desktops' but then you'd have to peek at the tabs with a mouse hover on the taskbar thumbnails. *Huh

  11. Yeah, that only does the icons on the taskbar. I'm running 5-8 different programs on each desktop, and I kind of need all the taskbar icons to be limited to the programs running on that particular virtual desktop.
