Windows 10: Possible Win10 update issue. Missfunction found when saving a file.

Possible Win10 update issue. I found a missfunction today after the automatic win10 update from Microsoft. I know it was a M update because when it happens it change my screen background and order of Icons. The missfunction found is: "file is reported already saved" despite the fact that there is a smal difference in the name of the new file that I intended to save.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.
