    hello, a few days ago my brother guided me on downloaded a cracked version of some app. details don’t matter, but apparently the person who made it was notorious for having sketchy malware in their cracks. my brother is the techy one and told me that they were probably false, so i allowed them onto my computer. my windows defender was going crazy with the notifications. i’m not too knowledgeable on windows defender so maybe it automatically deleted the files or quarantined them when i allowed them. eventually my brother googled the name of the person and we both found out about the guy and the

    Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
