Windows 10: Post-Windows 11 Update - Bamboo Ink Pen Disconnects Frequently

Just updated my Acer Acer Spin 15 to Windows 11. I have a Bamboo Ink pen oldest version that disconnects about every minute, and the fix is to take out the battery and put it back in. To get it to connect in the first place, I also have to take the battery out and put it back in. I was using Affinity Photo for the most part. I tested the pen in Snip + Sketch and the same problem occurred. My pen is weird; the Wacom driver stopped being useful with my pen long ago, however the pen continued to work with Windows Ink, despite not being able to make a bluetooth connection. Bamboo Ink Pen

Hi, I just purchased my Bamboo Ink pen for windows ink and it's not working. I just purchased an HP Envy x360 and I can connect the pen to the device (when I click the end I can open up windows ink workspace) however I cannot write on the computer with this
pen. I was told this was compatible. Can anyone help me get the bamboo pen to write?

I understand your concern, let us try few troubleshooting methods to fix this issue and check if that helps:

Method 1: Download and install the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website. Use the following link to download the drivers for
Bamboo Ink. Run the setup file and follow the onscreen instruction to download the drivers.

Method 2: If this doesn’t work I would suggest you to disconnect and reconnect the pen. You can follow the steps mentioned in the article on

And check if the issue is resolved.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to contact
Wacom support and get your pen tested as you might be facing this issue due to hardware failure.
