  1. Potential Spyware called "Windows Command Processor" in task manager

I've looked up "Windows Command Processor" and keep seeing people say it's probably spyware but when I follow any guide nothing happens. It still stats up when I turn on my laptop. Does anybody else see this in their task manager? Is there a way to find it's source?

    :)

  2. Is Windows Command Processor a part of Windows or is it spyware?

I am not having any problem but seek clarification on the identity of a file called Windows Command Processor which appears in my Start Up sequence. I have assumed it to be the cmd.exe program that runs the command prompt but various resources on the Internet
suggest that it is Spyware. Is Windows Command Processor a working part of Windows or is it Spyware as suggested by numerous sources on the web?

I ran System File Checker and got the following result: "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations." I have also run Microsoft Safety Scanner and no spyware or viruses were detected; likewise, I have run Malwarebytes and no spyware
    has been found.

Is Windows Command Processor a safe file?

  3. Is Windows Command Processor a part of Windows or is it spyware?

    * Original title: windows command processor

Is Windows Command Processor a part of Windows or is it spyware? I noticed it today when doing a search of Start-Up programs on my computer and found several references to it as Spyware that should be removed. I have run Malwarebytes (free version), Microsoft
Safety Scanner, and Norton Power Clean but none of these programs found my computer to be infected with virus or spyware. Should this file be removed or is it a working part of the Windows program?
