Windows 10: Power button on latop won't take power option settings in effect

I tried setting the power button to sleep / shutdown the system when it's plugged.None takes effect.Pressing the power button when the laptop is on does nothing.The system can sleep / shutdown normally by using options from start menu.What has gone wrong?System:MSI 15M Stealth A11UEK CPU: Intel Tiger Lake i7-11375H GPU: GeForce RTX3060 Laptop GPU, GDDR6 6GB RAM: DDR IV 16GB 3200MHz -> Upgraded to 32GB Storage: 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen3x4 SSD Panel: 15.6" FHD 1920*1080 , 144Hz IPS Connectivity: Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 2*2 ax + BT5.1 OS: Windows® 10 Home

Can't Change Power Settings

• In the search box, type troubleshooting, and then click
  Troubleshooting.
• Click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Power troubleshooter.

Method 2: Customize Power options.

If issue persists, the the following steps and check.

• In the search box, type Power options, and then click.
• Click on choose when to turn off display from the left pane.
• Click on Restore default settings for this plan.
• Click on Change advance power settings.
• Scroll down and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Expand Power button actions.
• Click on the Setting and set it to Shut down.

The function to turn off the display on your device only affects the monitor but the rest of the programs still run in the background. On the other hand, sleep mode turns off any unused programs to save energy. To change the power option on your device,
follow the steps below:

• Type Control Panel in the search box and press Enter.
• Select Hardware and Sound.
• Select Power Options.
• Select Choose what the power buttons do.
• Under Power and sleep button settings, click the drop-down arrow for

Once you're done, check if the music still plays after clicking the power button.
