Windows 10: Power Icon not function

Hi greetings!Currently encountering that my laptop cannot power off and sleep by clicking the power icon. The power icon also didn’t show any options when clicked on it. My laptop is Asus Vivobook, I have tried to run troubleshot but there is no power option in my troubleshot system. Can someone help please?

Power Icon disappeared

• Have you installed graphics drivers?
• From when are you facing this issue?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Hardware Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with power. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Power.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Power troubleshooter.

And also install all the latest drivers (Graphic) from the manufacturer web site.

Cannot find power icon in taskbar

Sleep mode no longer function on display power?

Method 2:

Please let us know whether you are able to see the sleep mode options by referring the following steps

1. In Search bar type Control panel

2. Select Power options

3. In power saver select change power settings and after that
select Change advanced power settings in that check whether you can see the
sleep mode.
