Windows 10: Power light blinking red then white

I have a Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1, and its power light keeps blinking red then white. The laptop only works when the charger is plugged in, and if I unplug it, it completely shuts off, closing all my windows and basically restarting. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Power Light blinks before Shutting Down

I thought the same thing. My PC does that.. red light blinks until it's fully shut down.

 

Blinking red power light, no video output

Hi,

Someone I know recently gave me their old computer, and today I tried plugged in that computer you gave me, plugged in the power cord, the monitor, but I only have the keyboard in it for right now. When I tried turning it on, all I get is a blinking
red power light on the front and there's no video output at all, I just hear the fans running inside it. I do have one idea why it's doing this; When I looked inside it, I saw the cords to the fan on the side
of the computer were cut, I'm guessing the person who gave me it cut it, but I can't be too sure, I'm thinking maybe the computer is seeing that that cord is cut, and that's why there's just a blinking red power light, but I have no idea about the no video
output thing. I also have no idea what OS it is (But I do know it's a Windows OS). Please Respond. Thanks!

I have a white blinking light on the front of my laptop, what does it mean?
