Power Options reverting back to Balanaced

I've been enjoying the Power Options reverting back from 'high performance' to 'balanced (recommended) again. Has this to do with an Windows update or is there an easy, simple way to fix this.
I've looked at the following site and need advice if this is the best way to go.

How to Enable Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) In Windows 10 Home Edition

Or should I be waiting for the next Windows update to fix this?

    :)

Issue with reverting back to Windows 8

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I suggest you try to revert back to the previous operating system from Windows Recovery Environment and check if it helps:

    Follow the steps:

    • Log out and go to the sign in screen.
    • Hold down the shift key on your keyboard while clicking the Power button on the screen
    • Continue to hold down the shift key while clicking Restart
    • Continue to hold down the shift key until the Advanced Recovery Options menu appears
    • Click Troubleshoot
    • Click Advanced options
    • Click Go back to the previous version of Windows
Refer the article for more information:

Revert back to Windows 8.1 from Windows 10

Click: Revert back to Windows 8.1 from Windows 10

Let us know if that makes any difference.
