Windows 10: Power setting keep reverting back to 15 min monitor sleep

    Power setting keep reverting back to 15 min monitor sleep


    I've tried saving custom profiles, enabled ultimate profile and no matter what I do, with or without a reboot, Windows keeps changing monitor sleep from Never to 15 min. I randomly come back to find my monitor off even after a clean install. What's wrong with your OS?

    Windows 7 & 10 Power/Sleep Settings Reverting Automatically

    Have been having an issue with computer going to sleep after 15 min of inactivity. I set a custom power plan, but it keeps reverting back to 15 min sleep mode automatically. This has been happening on Windows 7 and 10 machines.

    Power Settings timers for sleep keep resetting

    I seem to have a similar problem, but a little different from a very common power plan issue.

    I have an AMD Ryzen 3600 on a X570 chipset mobo (non Intel CPU). I like to set my power plan to put my PC to sleep after 45 minutes of inactivity. I have modified ALL of the existing power plans to set the PC to sleep after 45 mins (I have the monitor turning
    off after 30 mins). No matter what settings I pick in the "Advanced Power Settings" the times for ALL of the plans revert to 1 hour for the monitors and 2 hours for Sleep.

    How can I stop Windows (or whatever service) from changing my power plan settings from 20min/30min to 1hr/2hr all the time?

    Display Power & sleep question

    I recently got a new computer running win-10 and a new Dell monitor. Went through the setup steps one of which was display settings. I put 20 min in for power setting and never in sleep. I've used these setting for years in other machines but now the monitor
    will not power down after 20 min! Tried everything I know... Any ideas?
