Windows 10: Power Shortage, reset cmos, windows 10 won't activate

Lost my activation to windows 10 after a power shortage and having to reset the cmos to make the computer start.The device will show on my listed devices online but there's no way to activate my license.What can I do?

PC won't power up

Try taking these steps:

Completely drain the computer of any power that may be lingering in capacitors and such. Unplug the PC from the wall, and hold the power button in for a few seconds. At this time, maybe try resetting the CMOS by changing the jumper position and/or pulling the CMOS battery for a short amount of time and holding the power button again for a few seconds.

Try reseating everything. Cords, plugs, components. There may be a loose connection somewhere.

 

Resetting Bios Password

Follow these steps.

1. Power off the system & unplug the power cord, flip the power switch, hard reset the cmos by removing the battery for a couple of minutes (1-2 minutes).
2. Flip the switch & power it back on for a little bit then shut it back down (give it the amount of time you normally would allow it to boot up to windows login).
3. Reseat the cmos battery & power on the system.

After you've finished them all, reseat the battery & start it up. I've done this countless times. To unlatch & grab the battery, tweezers work good.

 

Power went out, CMOS reset. Activation revoked; product key blocked!

We got some bad weather here and the power went out. Upon booting back up I was greeted with a CMOS reset message. Loaded optimized defaults. Tweaked some things back here and there.

Then I noticed Windows Apps refused to launch. Went to see my activation... GONE! Even worse, my product key is supposedly blocked! It was activated prior to the power going out. I upgraded from a legit licence
of 8.1
