Windows 10: Power Toys Remap Key does not seem to be working.

Here is what i have done in Power Toys, then said "OK".So, does that mean that if i press the AltRight key on my keyboard, it should be the same as pressing CTL-PgUp?If so, it does not appear to be working.For instance, if in Edge, i press CTL-PgUp it moves the selected tab one tab to the left.But if i press the Right Alt key, this does not happen. In fact, it appears to me, as far as i can discern, that nothing at all happens when i press the Right Alt Key which is just what happens if it is not reprogrammed.Am i missing something here as to how this is supposed to work? Any clarification

Power Toys Download from Store -- Won't Execute

Unpin that icon from your Taskbar

Open your Start Menu and click 'All Apps' at the top right.

Scroll down the alphabetical list of apps to Find Power Toys.

Drag Power Toys from that list onto your Desktop, that will create a new shortcut on your Desktop

Then, drag that new shortcut onto your Taskbar.

That new icon on the Taskbar and that should work correctly

 

Potential problem with new Power Toys App

Yes indeed, this version of PowerToys bears little resemblance to the old XP set of utilities. To misquote an old proverb "Install in haste, repent at leisure!". Geek Uninstaller would have been my next step if System Restore hadn't worked its magic, then restore from a Casper image if that was unsuccessful.
