Windows 10: Power was accidentally cut in my room which shut off my computer while it was on, did that...

My computers power was cut by accident suddenly turning it off, and now after turning it back on im realizing that its freezing for a few seconds sporadically every few minutes, could there be any correlation? And if so, is there any way to fix these random spikes? Im currently running the memory diagnostic app and no problems have been detected so far.

In your case, there's a possibility that some updates being applied or other system activities have been interrupted by the power cut. Let us sort the issue by answering these questions:

• When you say "power cut", does it mean power outage or the computer was accidentally unplugged from the power source?
  
• Are you still able to boot your computer normally?
  
• What error messages are you getting?
  
• What are you working with before your computer shuts down?

Computer Cuts Power (Shuts Down)

I'm a little confused because I am seeing way back on page one, many people, including me, suggesting you try a different PSU. At the time, you said you had a 700W Antec PSU in there and now you are saying 650W. So have you already swapped out supplies?

The CX is Corsair's next to bottom line and doesn't have the best reputation. I would not buy one but if I had one laying around, I would use it temporarily for a test. If you system is the one listed in your System Specs, it should have enough power.

The issue might occur if the computer is not shut down properly. so, I suggest you to perform a power drain by follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Shut down the Computer.
• Remove all power source (including battery if it is a laptop).
• Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
• Connect the power source and start the computer.
• After the computer boots to the desktop, suggest you to install all the pending updates.
