    Powershell Automatically came up on my screen saying their is a new version of powershell...


    HI when I restarted my laptop this afternoon I got a power shell window came up automatically saying that I needed to install the latest version of powershell for the lasted features and improvements. What I want to now is it ok for me to install the lasted version of powershell on my new laptop witch does have windows 11 home. I am also wondering since I am not a developer or in IT is it necessary for me to install this without causing any issues to my new laptop and to windows 11.I am afraid of messing something up and if I was to mess up anything I am not comfortable with fixing proble

    PowerShell instead of Commandline in Creators Update

    Interestingly enough my personal laptop just got the update...and still has Command Prompt listed, not PowerShell...

    Edit: Not that it matters...I use both regularly. *Toast :toast:

    PowerShell screen pops up: PowerShell screen pops up when I log on. Takes 30 seconds to click it away. Another issue started at the same time. When I try to use a link it takes me to the Edge News page the first time I try. When I retry it gets me there. I shut PowerShell off. It did not work....
