  1. powershell dont close ports properly

I have nodejs server project, and everything worked fine, until I updated windows 2 versions more. so from 2020 windows, to this latest update 2024 which it is. But in all that, it seems like Powershell got installed buggy one, I don't know how to install older version, or how to fix this. When I run nodejs server, and click Ctrl + C , to stop process. But powershell doesnt do it properly. Also, CMD doesnt neither. But same code runs well on my other laptop which have that older windows version.Problem, is, that it "stops" , but when I try to rerun same app again "npm run server", then it di

Powershell problem bothers me too much.

    Hi Eun-hye,

PowerShell is a desktop app used for managing other built-in Windows updates. There’s a possibility that the PowerShell that is running in the background of your device is not responding properly. You can remove it by checking the
Task Manager, you may follow these steps:

    • Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
    • Highlight PowerShell.
    • Then select End task.
    • Close it and check if the same issue occurs.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have further inquiries.

PowerShell instead of Commandline in Creators Update

Interestingly enough my personal laptop just got the update...and still has Command Prompt listed, not PowerShell...

Edit: Not that it matters...I use both regularly. *Toast :toast:
