    Powershell Installation Help


    Hey there Powershell Installation Help :) I'm trying to install Haskel with Powershell, but when I try to use the command from ghcup, it throws the following error:

    C: not writable or not enough disk space, trying next device Couldn't find a writable partition with at least 5GB free disk space!

    So I don't think the disk space is the problem, as I have next to nothing on the computer and when I look it up it's more than half empty. And for the writable part: I am the only user of this computer so why wouldn't it be writable? I could try starting Powershell as admin but the ghcup website explicitly advises against that?

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    I have done chkdsk C: /f also.
    still not working. I tried your suggestion also. That also does not work.
    But as I said get-help dir works. Please see below

    PowerShell instead of Commandline in Creators Update

    Interestingly enough my personal laptop just got the update...and still has Command Prompt listed, not PowerShell...

    Edit: Not that it matters...I use both regularly. *Toast :toast:
