Windows 10: PowerShell ISE 64-bit Not Launching

My 64-bit version of PowerShell ISE does not open. There is no visual indicator or splash screen indicating it is trying to load. It appears to do nothing. However, I can see the executable in Task Manager > Details for about a second and then it disappears. The 32-bit version loads just fine. Also both 32 & 64 bit version of PowerShell itself load just fine.I installed and uninstalled PowerShell ISE usingISM /Online /Remove-Capability /CapabilityName:Microsoft.Windows.PowerShell.ISE~~~~0.0.1.0DISM /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:Microsoft.Windows.PowerShell.ISE~~~~0.0.1.0 Th

Uninstall Powershell 32 bits & Powershell ISE 32 bits?

Windows 10 64 bits

After the upgrade to Windows 10, I keep having 4 Powershell apps: Powershell 32 bits & Powershell ISE 32 bits, Powershell 64 bits & Powershell ISE 64bits. I think that the version is 4.

Given that my OS is 64bits, normally I will never use the powershell 32 bits apps, no?, if so, then I just Uninstall Powershell 32 bits & Powershell ISE 32 bits?

Powershell ISE issue

Unable to open PowerShell ISE x64 in admin mode nor in user login mode.

As PowerShell ISE x32 bit is working fine.

Kindly suggest.

 

Powershell ISE issue

Try these steps instead:

1. You can right-click on "Start" --> "Windows PowerShell Module" or "Windows PowerShell ISE" by going to "Start" --> "Administrative Tools" --> "Windows PowerShell Module" or "Windows PowerShell ISE". Select "Run As administrator". Anything you run in that
window will be as "Administrator".
