  1. Powershell Issue

So, ever since I got my brand new computer in February of this year every once in a while a screen pops up for like a second then disappears. I had no idea what program it was because I couldn't catch it when it popped up. Well, I guess my cat pushed a button on the keyboard and it caught it and it stayed open. It's Microsoft Powershell, and once opened, it will not close. I haven't tried restarting yet, because this is the first time I've actually seen the program causing the issue. It wouldn't be a big deal, but every time the screen pops up it will switch to a different tab on the compute

    :)

PowerShell instead of Commandline in Creators Update

Interestingly enough my personal laptop just got the update...and still has Command Prompt listed, not PowerShell...

Edit: Not that it matters...I use both regularly. *Toast :toast:

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Powershell Issue

PowerShell randomly poping-up in tool bar

    Hello,

Just to verify, do you have any scheduled tasks that uses Powershell? Scheduled tasks makes Powershell window appear periodically on your computer, therefore we suggest that you check the Task Scheduler. Here are the steps:

    • Click on Start.
    • In the search bar, type Task Scheduler and click on

      Task Scheduler
      in the results.
    • Under Active Tasks, check for any tasks that use Powershell and the scheduled time.

If the issue still persist, we suggest that you run a Windows Defender scan to see if it will pick up any malware that the first scan missed.

    Let us know the outcome.
