Windows 10: PowerShell takes 100% of CPU in multiple processes

Discus and support PowerShell takes 100% of CPU in multiple processes in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; so I've notice that every 30-60 seconds this happens and causes my PC to slow down as hellWindows version: 22H2, build: 22622.436 I'm in the beta...     Multiple process entries for whatever web browser I use using 100% of my cpu

    Laptop recently became very slow when using either Edge or Chrome. I checked task manager and found that cpu was at 100% and that multiple entries were showing in the process list for these applications. Have run various anti virus and malware scans all
    finding nothing. Laptop is ok when not using a browser but almost unusable now for Internet.

    Can anyone advise.

    CPU Usage 100% and idle process is 100%

    My CPU usage shows permanently 100% in task manager (in "Processes" tab) even my system idle process (in "Details" tab) is almost 100% and the CPU runs hot - fan is permanently on - CPU speed (in "Performance" tab) is always a bit above maximum speed!!!
    McAfee doen't show any virus problem. HP Spectre.

    CPU always at 100%; multiple copies of programs

    Don't use Avast so can't comment, others may be able to help there...

    Just click on the top of the PID column to sort the list by PID (works for all the columns).

    Not sure, but they must think it makes sense. Even Microsoft do that, look for Internet Explorer, Microsoft Silverlight...

    Task Manager's Details tab and Processes tab, sorted in descending order of CPU would be useful too.

    I often see my cpu permanently at 100%, but then I regularly do heavy-duty video processing in the background, so I know the reason why PowerShell takes 100% of CPU in multiple processes :)
