Hello, I have a PowerShell script that uses an Azure AD account with an Exchange Online license Plan 1 to connect.The script works as follows: create a loop which, for each security group, retrieves the mailbox addresses a second loop is performed if there is more than one mailbox per security group.Next, retrieve the members of the security group forming list A and retrieve the members of the mailbox forming list B.If a user is in list A but not in list B, we add him/her to the mailbox, otherwise we remove him/her from the mailbox.My problem is that after a certain number of requests, the

Cannot Access Exchange Server

Hi All,

I Migrated Exchange Server 2010 to O365, after the migration I was unable to Access Exchange On-prem.

Receiving this error: 'The WinRm Client could not process the request, It could not process the content type of the HTTP Response'

Steps I have completed:

Ensured Kerbauth module listed as Native in Powershell vd

Remote Powershell is enabled

WSman mdoule is registered but not enable at server level

but I still cannot access it..Tried just about everything..Firewalls, SSL...Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Exchange Support For Windows Server 2016

Exchange Support For Windows Server 2016

Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview 5 is available from the TechNet Evaluation Centre. While that’s great to download the bits and get the OS running in your test lab, please do not update the OS on your Exchange servers right now or introduce 2016 DCs into production. This post is just a quick reminder about what is *NOT* currently in the Exchange team’s support matrix.

Over the years there have been issues and lots of posts in the TechNet forums where people have run into some challenges when they have either:

•Upgraded the OS in place to a new version Windows Server

•Tried to install Exchange onto an unsupported version of Windows Server

Unfortunately there is not much that can be done to help apart from digging out backups as this is not a supported solution at this time.

Walking The Supported Path

TechNet documents the Exchange Product Group’s supported OS for each version of Exchange. Here are the links for your convenience:

You will note that Windows Server 2016 is not currently listed as a supported OS platform for Exchange. In addition to this please also note that Windows Server 2016 is not currently listed as supported Domain Controllers.

For example, when writing this post Exchange 2016 supports the following platforms:

•Windows Server 2012

•Windows Server 2012 R2

Again note that Windows Server 2016 is not listed.

I didn’t list Exchange 2003 as hopefully no one out there is going to be trying that. *

Coming soon: A first look at Exchange Server 2016

Less than three weeks to go until Microsoft Ignite kicks off in Chicago! Based on how many members of the sellout crowd have identified themselves as Microsoft Exchange Conference alumni, it looks like we’ll have an excellent turnout from the Exchange community. We’re excited to talk face-to-face with you about all things Exchange.

At Ignite we’ll give you a first look at Exchange Server 2016, the on-premises release that we plan to ship in the second half of this year. This new version of Exchange includes innovation across a broad set of areas, including individual productivity, team collaboration, and information governance. There are new features, enhancements, and refinements that add up to goodness on the way for end users, IT, and your organization as a whole.

To highlight a few examples:

A new approach to document collaboration that makes it easy to send links and collaborate without versioning issues of attachments

Faster and more intelligent search, to help users quickly find what they need in their mailboxes and calendars

Significant improvements to eDiscovery search performance and reliability

Better extensibility, including new REST-based APIs for Mail, Calendar, and Contacts that simplify web and mobile development

If you’ve been keeping tabs on Office 365 since we shipped Exchange Server 2013, many of these new capabilities will be familiar. Most of the new features in Exchange Server 2016 were birthed in the cloud and then refined in a feedback loop that includes millions of mailboxes deployed worldwide. The same is true of back-end improvements to Exchange architecture, high availability, and storage. We are now working to bring these elements to the diverse world of on-premises environments. You can join our on-premises Technology Adoption Program if you want to be a partner in that process.

We still have much to do before Exchange Server 2016 ships, but we’re confident that its simplified architecture, performance improvements, new user experiences, better extensibility, and tight integration with products like SharePoint Server 2016 add up to a solid release.
