This Hyper-V VM error occurs during a system’s Secure Boot or Trusted Platform Module (TPM) verification process, where a pre-launch health check detects that a critical hardware or firmware component is no longer functioning correctly. "Device health attestation isn't supported on this device"

    Hi OmairSalman,

Device Health Attestation does not increase security, it is away for a PC to report to a System Administrator about the security hardware on the PC.

Below is the documentation that Microsoft provide on Device Health Attestation, it is a process used by System Administrators through a management console to check that all their PC's meet their requirements, it is not a process used by home users.

    Hi OmairSalman,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Device Health Attestation is used in a wok environment, it is not required or used on a private PC

For that function to work, your BIOS needs to be in UEFI Mode and support TPM and Secure Boot and both must be enabled.

"Device health attestation isn't supported on this device"

    Hi there.

When going to windows security, device security and then security processor details, Attestation shows "Not supported" under status.

And when I click on Security processor troubleshooting, it tells me "Device health attestation isn't supported on this device.".

What could be the cause of this? Is it possible to fix it and get attestation to work?

My device specs are as follows:

    Intel core i5-7500 processor

    16 GB RAM

GTX 1060 3 GB graphics card

    B250-HD3P-CF motherboard.
