Windows 10: Pre-install a software in OEM windows image and set it as default picture viewer

I have a an application which can view images. I want to work with a manufacturer to install it in their desktop and set it as a default picture viewer replacing windows photo viewer. Is that technically or otherwise possible?

I suggest you to follow the below steps in order to change the default image viewer to Paint.

• In search,
• Type Default Programs.
• Check whether Windows Photo Viewer is listed in the list.
• Left click on the photo viewer and select the option paint.

My name is Fernando. I am an Independent Advisor. I am here to guide you with changing your default picture viewer.

To be offered the viewer of your choise, you have to have it installed. If it is already installed and you want to change the default do the following:

1. Open the Control Panel

2. Go to Default Programs > Set Default Programs.

3. Find the photo editing software of your choice in the list of programs,

4. Click it, and choose Set this program as default.

This will set the photo viewer of your choice as the default program for all file types it can open by default

Irfanview is on the list.

You can also check on the settings if Irfanview is available.

• Press Windows key+ I
  
• Click System
• Select Default apps
• Then click Photo viewer
• You can also check on Choose default apps by the file type
• Check if Irfanview is on the list
