Windows 10: Pre-installed OneDrive app stopped working. How can I fix this?

Background:The preinstalled OneDrive app stopped working yesterday. For the past couple of days, the system tray icon kept disappearing; I presume it was logging me off. I would have to start the OneDrive app from the Windows Start Menu and re-login for it to function. It would work for an hour or so and then log me off again.Yesterday morning, the OneDrive folder was no longer available in Windows Explorer/File Manager and the app was also not found in the Windows Start Menu.I can see the OneDrive app in Add/Remove programs. I tried to remove it and attempt a reinstall, but pressing "Uninstal

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

Newroom App (pre-installed with Mango) Doesn't Launch

The Newsroom app/tile that was pre-installed (Mango) doesn't fully launch anymore after I added a stock to my list of stocks tracked. The app starts up and then it goes back to the main tile screen almost immediately. I looked for settings for this app
and couldn't find any and went to the Marketplace to re-purchase/re-install, but couldn't find the app. Any suggestions to fix? Thanks.

 

No onedrive

Doing the steps below to install the latest version of OneDrive may be able to help.

1. Download and install the latest version of OneDrive that's rolling out with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
2. Restart your computer.
3. After your computer restarts, select the Start button, search for “OneDrive”, and then select the OneDrive desktop app.
4. When OneDrive Setup starts, enter your personal account, or your work or school account, and then select Sign in.
