    Need some assistance. I started out with a prebuilt gaming PC. The MB is a ASUS Prime B360M-A. I took the CPU Intel I5 9600K and the internal SSD M.2 500GB and put it in my new computer that I built. It works great. The prebuilt computer I’m giving to my stepson. I replaced and installed the CPU with an Intel I5 9600K and a 1TB internal SSD. Am I wrong in assuming that Windows needs to be freshly installed back on the prebuilt computer that I reinstalled hardware? What’s steps do I need to do? I tried doing a Windows media download to a USB flash drive, but the boot up always freezes…. Ei

    Thinking about getting a 1TB m.2

    My first thought was that using a 1TB SSD in what is basically a caching scheme is crazy.

    On further thought, it's crazy.*Smile

    I'd suggest getting this Sabrent Rocket Q 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 Internal SSD High Performance Solid State Drive R/W 3200/2000 MB/s (SB-RKTQ-1TB) - Newegg.com or this Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 Internal SSD High Performance Solid State Drive (SB-ROCKET-1TB) - Newegg.com as an alterative to Samsung. If you had a PCI-E 4.0 CPU + motherboard (you do not, at least in your My Computer listing), I'd suggest this: Sabrent 1TB Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 Internal SSD Maximum Performance Solid State Drive With Heatsink (SB-ROCKET-NVMe4-HTSK-1TB) - Newegg.com.

    M.2 SSD Drive With Windows 10 Listed as Disk 1 in Disk Management,

    Hi, In my pc M.2 SSD with Windows 10 OS is listed as Disk 1 and not as Disk 0 in Disk Management. Also, the same drive is listed as Removable devices which is actually internal SSD.

    Can anybody help me resolve this, please?

    SATA SSD and M.2 SSD

    i was with a ssd sata and now i have ssd m.2, i formatted and put windows 11 in m.2, but i did not remove the ssd sata, i can only boot windows with the ssd sata connected, if i remove it windows does not boot to m.2



    obs: windows was installed on m.2 but the ssd sata was still connected, but windows was 100% installed on m.2, is there any way I can set m.2 as primary? (when i removed the ssd sata it did not recognize windows)
