Windows 10: Precise resizing of app windows

Hi,

I experience a rather strange behaviour of resized windows that they sometimes get added twice the size that I indicate with the mouse. Let's say that I drag a window edge by 100 px and it changes the window width by 200 px, instead of 100. I don't know if it's a bug or an intended feature but I want to disable it. It drives me mad because I often need to resize windows with precision.
Weirdly, tt happens pretty randomly sometimes it stops happening after a couple of resizing attempts and I noticed that behaviour mostly in system apps, like Notepad, File Explorer or Paint, but also some third party apps, like Blender 3D. I don't know if this depends on the app itself or it is only controlled by the system.
I want ALL the app windows to ALWAYS resize to the exact position that I release my mouse on.

moving and resizing

There may be several reasons why you are unable to resize or move applications after installing an update. To better assist you with your concern, we would like you to answer the questions below:

• Does it happen only on one application?
• Which application are you having issues resizing or moving?

In the meantime, we suggest you to run the Windows 10 troubleshooter. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel
• Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter

Resizing photos for export using windows 10

The information which you have provided is not enough for us to determine the issue. Please provide us more information.

• Which app/program are you using to browse/view photos?
• Are you referring to Windows Photos app to edit/resize image?

If you are using Windows Photos app to edit image, I would like to inform you that as of now there are no image resizing option available in Photos app. I suggest you to use other app/program to resize the image (e.g. Paint).

where is resize option before sending an email with a photo,????

• Which email are you referring to email app or email client server?
• Do you get any error message?

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Attach photo in a mail.
• Left click on a photo.
• You will get a resize option, you can drag & resize photo.
