Windows 10: Predator PH317-53-7777 Acer TrueHarmony not installed.

Hi,


I just got this laptop Acer Predator PH317-53-7777 which is supposed to come with Acer Trueharmony, which is nowhere to be found. Not on the speakers properties, not on the Realtek Audio Manager, just nowhere.

Laptop does not even include Dolby.

Sound is totally awful.

I have downloaded and installed audio drivers from Acer website which should include TrueHarmony, nothing changes.

Sound is a mess.

Contacted customer support online... no help, clueless guy said trueharmony is an upgrade to the laptop, that's why it is not included. He had no idea how should I get Trueharmony.

Please someone tell me how to fix this. This is an expensive laptop, sound is horrible, only works well with bluetooth speakers.

cannot find Acer TrueHarmony for my device

hi,

I recently brought this device: Acer Aspire 5 A515-52G-57VG and the sticker states that it has the TrueHarmony as well as some websites. But the issue is I cannot even find where TrueHarmony is. Does anyone know where it is or why I cannot find it? Do not
know what category it should be under.

Need a Laptop for Learning

I like the idea of getting a laptop with a good cpu and then later adding an external gpu but here it's hard to find an external enclosure for a reasonable price.
I'm actually toying with the idea of getting this: Acer Predator PH317-51-727W. I know it's more gaming oriented but it should be ok.
