Windows 10: predictive text like ios

hi all,

after only using iphones and ipads for the past 6 years, i have recently purchased a new laptop.

its an acer and has windows 10. im trying to find a setting that will predict my text like the iphone does. (for eample when im using facebook,email or anything text wise) so when im writing a sentence and i hit the full stop and start another sentence it will start with a capitol letter.

as you can see by my post its not working and i have to press shift if i want a capital letter ect ect

is there a way?

Nokia 2630: rearrange the punctuation page

I just tried this on my 52 hundred. If predictive text is ON then I get three spaces like you just said but if it's OFF I get the cycle that i mentioned above so try with predictive text off. You must press the 0 key fairly quickly like when turning predictive
text On/Off with the #key

 

Prediction on & off for 1661

I like the prediction mode when I'm texting. However, one must turn it off to enter a word that's not in the dictionary.



Is there an alternative to traveling through the long menu to do this? [Select "Options", "Predictive text", and then "Prediction off".]

I'd first try Google:

predictive text app for windows pcs - Google Search

- then try out the first few suggestions it makes until I find a suitable solution.
