Windows 10: Predictive url is super slow on Edge beta (stable too!)

    Predictive url is super slow on Edge beta (stable too!)


    Anyone else have this issue.

    Say i type an address in url box, well, Edge doesn't seem to acknowledge the site until i get to the last letter and sometimes even have to type .com to get there before it shows up in the predicted address. Kind of defeats the purpose of having autocomplete enabled.

    Moving from Edge Chromium beta to Stable (Overwriting Default folder)?

    I used Edge Chromium beta almost from the beginning of its release and liked it a lot. I kept using beta after stable release because it would leave old Edge alone and was not much different from stable. With time my beta edge is personalized with settings, extensions and bookmarks etc.. and today I decided to finally go with the stable release.

    To transfer everything from beta to stable I copied the content of C:\Users\My Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge Beta\User Data\Default and copied it to Default folder of the new stable Edge.

    Everything seem to be there and working! But I wonder if this is OK and right way to do it!?

    Predictive url is super slow on Edge beta (stable too!)

    Phone being super slow

    I have lumia 1320. After installing an app named "Screen lock beta" it has gone super slow. Seriously slow. Then I tried hardware reset. It's not working well yet! It's again being slow after every 5 minutes of use. Any idea?
