Windows 10: Preferences not syncing to my new computer

I finally gave in and started to use a Microsoft Account to log into Windows, for the convenience of having preferences sync to other computers. So I recently purchased and set up a Windows 11 computer exactly the way I like it, but then had to return it to the store. Got a replacement, logged in, and I see that my preferences are not syncing. Files have synced from my old computer, but not the preferences that I set on the old computer. Apps that I deleted on the old computer are still on the new computer.

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

• Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
• Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
• Startup PC
• Reinstall display driver
• Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
• Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
• Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
• Calibrate my 1440p monitor

Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?

Keyboard layout syncing issue in Windows 10

Does this issue confined to keyboard layout?

I suggest you to Turn off the Language preference and Ease of access Sync settings and check if it helps. You may follow the steps below and check if it helps:

  Press Windows key and then type Sync your settings.
  
• 
  Turn off language preference and ease of access.
