Windows 10: Prefilled email address on login.microsoftonline.com

We have to log in to SSO using login.microsoftonline.com. Some users have the prefilled email address on the Sign-in panel. However, some other users have to enter their email addresses the first time of the day.Can any setting be changed to have the prefilled on that field consistently?Thanks

Login prefilling p's

I'm using my deceased husband's laptop which I have had no problem with for 2.5 years. The last time I signed out it wouldn't shutdown. It just kept saying shutting down. I did hard reboots several times. I finally after many variations of manipulation
got back to the login screen but the password field prefills with p's. I cannot get it to stop prefilling to put the password in. I tried to reset the password but after several steps it asked about recent emails and their subjects. No emails have been sent
from this computer in 2.5 years. So I couldn't go that route. Any help is appreciated.

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

Windows Login Email

• Go to "Settings" app, then click Accounts
• Click the Link for "login using a local account" and follow the steps through
• Go back to the same place and now link again to the correct/new email address.
