Windows 10: Preparing Automatic Repair Everytime I Turn on My Computer or Not Turning on at All

I have an ASUS Vivobook and have had it for about two years. I am having an issue that was occurring weekly and is now occurring daily where I will close the top and then open it, and instead of being in sleep mode and being on the lock screen, it has completely shut off. When I press the power button, it loads the first ASUS screen without the little loading dots moving in the circle towards the bottom of the screen and then goes off again. After some time, I try again and this continually happens and I am forced to do the hard restart, holding down the power button for a few seconds and un

Preparing Automatic Repair/Diagnosing Your PC Loop

To resolve your concern with continuously looping your system, we suggest that you follow the Startup Repair steps below:

• Turn off your computer.
• Turn on your computer. As soon as you see the Windows logo with the spinning dots, press and hold down the power button until your computer turns off. Do this process
  twice.
• Turn on your computer for the third time, and let it load.
• It should give you the message: Preparing Automatic Repair.
• On the next screen that would appear, click on Advanced Options.
• Select Troubleshoot.
• Go to Advanced Options.
• Click on Startup Repair.
• Wait for the repair to finish.

Preparing automatic repairs

After an update, i turned on my laptop and was met with “prepairing automatic repairs”. This is then met by the dreaded blue screen saying that the laptop will restart. Ive done the force shutdown 3x thing but still everytime i turn it on it gets stuck
on “preparing automatic repairs” and has currently been in this state for around 20 hours. What do i do?
