    Preparing automatic repair how do I get my laptop to move on from this question. Unable to...


    Unable to use my laptop. When I start my laptop a message appears on the screen PREPARING AUTOMATIC REPAIR. Laptop shuts down . That’s as far as I can get. If I try again, it starts a looping of the same message. Cannot use my laptop. HELP! HELP!

    Preparing Automatic Repair

    My son's Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ACL has been stuck on "Preparing Automatic Repair" for over a week now. I can't followed any steps listed for remedying it because the computer doesn't respond to any instructions, like holding F8 or even booting from a USB, at all. Has anyone ideas or it's time to discard this 5-year old laptop?

    "Preparing Automatic Repair"

    I updated my Toshiba Satellite laptop including the Microsoft Edge Update for Windows 10. I have the "Preparing Automatic Repair" problem.

    The "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen is flashing.

    I do not want to lose any of the data that I have on the laptop by restoring and reinstalling Windows 10. The laptop initially came with a Windows 7 operating system. Then, it was upgraded to Windows 8 and then Windows 10.

    Can you recommend the steps to take for this specific laptop?

    Preparing automatic repair, then it goes black

    Hi, thanks for the help. But unfortunately I am unable to do the steps given as my laptop never reaches the sign-in page meaning I can't access the desktop. When I turn it on it says 'preparing automatic repair' then goes black, and doesn't change.
