Windows 10: Preparing automatic repair

My compute is going theough something known as "boot loop" I've tried my best to try and fix it using YouTube but nothing has worked so far. It keeps going to a blue screen and automatically restarting and this keeps happening. When on the blue scree it "says your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. Well restart for you" this keeps happening. Another thing I noticed was it also says "stop code driver npp watchdog"

"Preparing Automatic Repair"

I updated my Toshiba Satellite laptop including the Microsoft Edge Update for Windows 10. I have the "Preparing Automatic Repair" problem.

The "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen is flashing.

I do not want to lose any of the data that I have on the laptop by restoring and reinstalling Windows 10. The laptop initially came with a Windows 7 operating system. Then, it was upgraded to Windows 8 and then Windows 10.

Can you recommend the steps to take for this specific laptop?
