Windows 10: Preparing

Hello, I have a big problem, and I did not find an explanation for it on YouTube or searching for people. I faced a problem. It did not help. My problem is prepring a word on its own, but I waited for about two hours. Then I turned it off and on. It does not work. It comes with a screen, the word, and a download. I swear I am tired of this problem. I hope you respond to my message and answer it quickly.

I realize that at startup your PC always says preparing for windows. I will try to help you with this issue.

  Are you signing in to a Local account or the Microsoft account?
  

Suggest you to boot the PC in Safe Mode to check if that helps. Once you are in the desktop screen you may boot the PC in a clean boot state to check the status.

Preparing Automatic Repair

My son's Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ACL has been stuck on "Preparing Automatic Repair" for over a week now. I can't followed any steps listed for remedying it because the computer doesn't respond to any instructions, like holding F8 or even booting from a USB, at all. Has anyone ideas or it's time to discard this 5-year old laptop?

"Preparing Windows" error may show due to a locked out profile. To solve this concern, you may refer to the steps below:

Step 1: Perform safe mode.

Step 2: Run Startup Repair.

• Go to the lock screen. Press and hold the Shift key and click on the power icon located on lower right corner of the screen.
• You will have to restart your computer. Click Restart Anyway, once prompted.
• Select Troubleshoot. Click on Advance Option, and select Startup Repair.
