Windows 10: Preselection tool on cursor.

I know that you are aware of the problem with everyone's cursor jumping around selecting things at random. No one likes this, it is a terrible idea. Please tell us how to remove it! I do not know who thought that this would be a good idea. If we people can not use our own finger to click on what we want, then something is really wrong with people. I hope we are not that lazy. I can also bet that everyone having trouble has a different mouse, so telling us to go into thesettings does not work. It is embedded somewhere in the programming. We want it off, now tell us how! If I cannot have this removed, I will never buy a Microsoft product again, and go Chromebooks, this is really ridiculous. I cannot stress enough how frustrating this is. Working on my Master's degree, having to write many papers, and this tool is 100% awful. When typing, I end up in other sentences and paragraphs constantly, then having to go back to fix that is so frustrating and madding. Please reply ASAP. Thank you

cursor dissappeared

Thank you both for your prompt replies, I tried all steps listed, some I had tries previously but I still tried them again, but still no cursor.

Do you have any other suggestions?

You should add VLC to that list. Plays most anything, except WMV/WMA.

And are we sticking to free tools? Cause I have suggestions for some that cost money, but are well worth it IMHO.
