Windows 10: Pressing o or k on 1 keyboard opens either calculator, file explorer, or windows cast?

It is on the 1 keyboard, no others.

3. If the Calculator app does appear, it suggests a deeper issue possibly related to third-party programs or system settings. In such cases, I recommend reviewing recently installed software or making adjustments to system settings. Alternatively, you may consider performing a system restore to a point before the issue began.
   
   If the Calculator app does not appear when using the on-screen keyboard, it indicates that the unusual keyboard behavior may not be directly related to Windows itself. In this scenario, I advise reaching out to your computer hardware manufacturer for further assistance. They can conduct hardware diagnostics and repairs as necessary to address any underlying hardware issues.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

File Explorer and K drive (DVD-RW) opens automatically on start up

Hi Andrew,

Are you getting any error messages? I would suggest checking the Startup folder to see if File Explorer is added.

Follow these steps:

• Press Windows + R on the keyboard.
• In the Run command type "%userprofile%" without quotes.
• Navigate to the following location:
  
  AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
• Right click and delete any entry here.
• Uncheck Hidden Items once done.
