Windows 10: pretty annoying ghost click & spazz on my laptop

my build is windows 11 home version 21H2 OS Build 22000.778 laptop is dell inspiron 15 3511.i had a wonderful day playing cookie run on bluestacks and suddenly my FRICKING CURSOR KEEPS GHOST TAPPING/SPAZZING! IT FREAKING REMOVED ALL OF MY TABS AND MY HARD WORK! I THOUGHT RESETING THE COMPUTER WOULD HELP, BUT IT DOESN'T!!! MY WINDOWS IS UP TO DATE, AND I TRIED UPDATING THE MOTHER FRICKING DRIVERS!!! sorry, calming down right now. the only way to fix this is by disabling the touchscreen hid, going to uefi firmware settings, or shutting down the laptop.

Ghost clicking & spazzing

My laptop is a Dell - Inspiron 2-in-1 13.3" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive - Silver, I have a free trial version of windows 10. I bought it just this month, my sister also bought the same laptop and is having none
of these problems. It has been phantom clicking and the mouse is spazzing out. It repetitively clicks in the top (usually right) corner. It does this in laptop and tablet mode. I have tried calibrating and updating. The only way to get it to stop is restarting
or shutting it down.

• What is the make and model of the computer?
• Do you face the issue only with Sniper Ghost Warrior?

We would suggest you to update the graphics drivers and check.

 

Lenovo Yoga 710 Laptop Ghost-Touching

Hello Claire_167, I am an independent Windows advisor and will be happy to assist you.

To disable the touchscreen you the computer, follow the method below.

Step 1: Open Device Manager, press Win key & X

Step 2: Select Device Manager from the list

(drag the device manager to the right side of the screen to avoid the ghost touching)

Step 3: expand Human Interface Devices

step 4: Right click HID-complaint device and select Disable device

Do this for each HID-complaint device if there are multiple

Step 5: Select yes on the confirmation box

Let me know when you complete this method so we can move onto resolving the ghost touching issue.
