Windows 10: Prevent Windows 11 Advertising Notifications

I continue to get notifications from Windows 11 to purchase something. The message itself appears at the bottom right of the screen very briefly. I never have enough time to examine or read the full message - but I see a "Buy" button within the notification message just before it slips away. Is there any way at all to actually HAVE TIME TO READ THIS MESSAGE? Is there a way to force this message to re-display itself? This constantly occurs. The message is there for a few seconds then it's gone with no obvious way to allow the notification to display long enough that I have time to read t

How to prevent notifications to wake up Windows 11

I would suggest that you Follow these steps to check if it works:

Step 1: Open the Windows Settings menu by pressing the Windows Key and “I,” or alternatively search for Settings in the Windows search bar and click the corresponding result.

Step 2: Click Notifications & Actions in the left-hand menu. This will take you to a screen providing access to all of the settings related to notifications and the Action Center.

Step 3: Click the System icon, then select Notifications and actions from the left-hand menu.

Step 4: Look for the Notifications subheading, where you will see a number of toggles for various types of notifications.

The following is a list of the settings you can toggle on this screen:

**Get notifications from apps and other senders

**Show notifications on the lock screen

**Show alarms, reminders, and incoming VoIP calls on the lock screen

**Hide notifications when duplicating my screen

**Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows

You may just turn them OFF the notification as you need.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

Windows 11 advertisement in Windows 10 Update settings

Hi, thank you for the recommendation. There is no "stay on Windows 10 for now" button. There is only a "check hardwarerequirements" in the box (or right box) which opens you a browser URL. The Windows 11 advertisement will stay there. However, since this system won't have the necessary HW requirements, it will stay on Windows 10 till 2025. Also, my question is how I prevent this advertisement at all and not just ignore it. You could say this for the "Online settings tips" as well, but therefore a gpedit entry exist. Does a preventing regedit/gpedit entry exist for this Ad?
