Windows 10: Prevent windows from adjusting brightness on each Power Mode change

Hello,I have an issue with windows forcedly setting display brightness level every time I change Power Mode in the settings on my laptop.For example, when Power Mode is set to Best Performance brightness is being set to zero. Even if I max out brightness manually, every time i change power mode is being reset.This happens regardless if laptop is on charger or battery. Adaptive brightness "Change brightness based on content" is turned OFF. Lower screen brightness when using battery saver is also turned OFF.

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Were you able to see any error message/ error code with this issue?
• Have you tried to install all the pending updates for drivers and Windows Updates on your device?

This issue might have happened due to corrupted/ outdated drivers.

Brightness Control not working in Windows 10

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.
