Windows 10: Prevent Windows from installing apps

Discus and support Prevent Windows from installing apps in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Windows keeps installing worthless config apps when I install hardware.I do not have the Store installed, it should not be getting them.It isn't coming...     Prevent Windows from installing apps


    Windows keeps installing worthless config apps when I install hardware.I do not have the Store installed, it should not be getting them.It isn't coming from the install files. Unless .INF files are a lot more compressed than I thought.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Preventing access to modern app

    Ive been tasked with preventing the children from accessing instagram. I've got it listed in my windows hosts file and internet options/security/restricted site but the windows 10 app is still allowing access. Any suggestions other then deleting app which can just be reinstalled?

    C windows installer folder - Delete?

    He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink Prevent Windows from installing apps ;)
    Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
    First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
    Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

    Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.
