    Hi,

    Setting the Preview pane to show or hide in File Explorer will apply to all folders. If you wish to hide the Preview pane in File Explorer, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • Open File Explorer.
    • Tap on View tab.
    • Click Preview Pane to view/hide it.

    How Do I Restore Media Previews to the Preview Pane in File Explorer?

    Hi,

    The File Explorer can display previews for several media file formats. Based from the information that you've shared, we'd like to ask additional information to better assist you. Please answer the following:

    • When did the issue start?
    • Were there any changes made prior to the issue?
    • Are you also getting this when you use the Preview pane to view pictures?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
    In the meantime, we suggest that you start your device in safe mode. We can check if this issue occurs due to some files that may be in use, applications that won't uninstall properly, or possible malware. You may use this link to
