Windows 10: previous files not showing in notepad

i have used from this video i have used a file in notepad "REG DELETEHKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Desktop /F taskkill /f /im explorer.exe taskkill /f /im shellexperiencehost.exe del%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ShellExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy\TempState* /qstart explorer.exe .after that my all notepad files are not showing app but they are saved .please help me in this.

As per the description, I understand that you’ve lost notepad files after you forced stopped your PC.

I would like to know a few information:

• 
  Did you check Recycle Bin if files were there?
  
• 
  Did you actually save the files before force stop?
  

Also, I would suggest you to perform System Restore and check if it helps:

System Restore is a feature that allows users to restore their system to a previous state. It offers a way to undo all the changes in the system files, registry keys, installed
programs, etc., to a previous state, without affecting personal files such as documents, photos or e-mails.

1. Windows key + R to open Run window.

2. On run command type “rstrui.exe” (without double code) and press
OK.

3. Select the restore point and follow the onscreen instruction.

Notepad consuming cpu 40%

Your screenshot of Task Manager and the notepad.exe properties shows the same size and creation date as in @dalchina's earlier screenshot. So it looks like it is the real notepad that's running.

But - it isn't running the way it should. In your Task Manager there should be a > to the left of notepad, and clicking on it should open up a list of the Notepad instances that are running, along with the name of the document that's open (or 'Untitled - Notepad' if none).

Yours doesn't show that (compare it with dalchina's screenshot). Notepad is running - yes, but not the way it's supposed to. It appears to be in the list of background processes, not in the list of Apps where it should be. Could something be trying to run it as a service? Perhaps some malware set this up, but failed to replace the genuine notepad.exe with its counterfeit one?

As a first step I'd look at the Startup tab in Task Manager for clues.

 

PRevious versions of notepad files

I had a notepad file that I accidentally deleted text from and then saved using the same file name, is there any way to get a previous saved version of the file? When I go to the file's properties and select previous versions it says there are no previous
versions available, which doesn't make sense because I know I had previously saved this file. Is there any way to find the most recent previously saved version of this file? Is there any other way to recover this file as it appeared before I deleted the text
then overwrote it?
