Windows 10: Previous question thread not working

Anyway, I have had my laptop since before Windows 10 came out, I have installed software in the past, but haven't done so for a while, so this must be a new setting, very annoying.


I will have to go away and find another way around it, having used Windows for a number of years this is rapidly becoming a very unfriendly OS.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.
